The Rockies
This week I am away on vacation as my husband just finished his year of school and we are celebrating. We flew into Kelowna, British Columbia – central to the Okanagan Valley, one of the warmest and driest spots in Canada (semi-arid) and home to many excellent wineries.
Currently, we are enjoying a couple days exploring the wineries and soaking in the incredible views. A few examples of the wineries we visited today – Blasted Church, See Ya Later, Black Hills, Burrowing Owl, and Meyer Family Vineyards.
Practicing contemplative photography at home helps me to move beyond the traditional vacation photos to look for the little things. Here are a few more images from today.

Enjoy this vacation time away – it looks as if you are surrounded with stunning beauty. Love the image of the Rockies, their snow-covered peaks alternating with the clouds. And the wine bottles – such amazing color. Vancouver is on my list as well as anywhere in Europe.
The mountains always get to me. And, Vancouver is one of my favorite places.
